Frequently Asked Questions – Poster Presentations

When will the final scientific program be published?

The preliminary scientific program is already available at:

https://www.eventweb.com.br/slap2026/home-event/schedule.php?lang=en_US

Please note that the program is still tentative and may be subject to minor adjustments. The final program will be published by October 10 on the SLAP 2026 website. Presenters will also be notified by email.

Is there an official poster template?

Yes. A poster template is available at https://slap2026.com.br/submission/modelo_de_poster.pptx

Its use is recommended, but optional. Participants may use their own layout, provided that the poster complies with the required dimensions.

What are the maximum poster dimensions?

Posters must be prepared in portrait orientation, with maximum dimensions of:

90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height)

In which language should the poster be prepared?

All posters must be prepared in English.

The presentation and discussion with participants and evaluators may be conducted in English, Portuguese, or Spanish.

How long is each poster session?

Each poster session will last 60 min.

Do I need to stay by my poster during the whole session?

Yes. Presenters should remain by their posters throughout the entire 60-minute session in order to interact with participants and evaluators.

We recommend preparing a short pitch of approximately 3 minutes summarizing the main objectives, results, and conclusions of your work. This can help facilitate discussions with participants and evaluators.

When should I mount and remove my poster?

Please carefully check the date and time of your poster session in the scientific program.

On the day of your presentation, proceed to the designated poster area and mount your poster in the assigned location before the session begins.

Please remember to remove your poster after the session.

Will there be awards for poster presentations?

Yes. Awards will be presented to the best poster presentations during SLAP 2026.

Does SLAP 2026 provide poster printing services?

No. The SLAP 2026 Organizing Committee does not provide poster printing services.

However, participants who prefer to print their posters in Salvador may contact the local printing services listed below. Both are located close to the conference venue and, if files are submitted sufficiently in advance, they may also be able to arrange delivery directly to the hotel.

Please note that these are independent service providers. The SLAP 2026 Organizing Committee assumes no responsibility for their services, deadlines, prices, delivery arrangements, or print quality.
